Rifle Man Shri Bhagwan was part of a special operation on 03 Dec 2016 at 0430 hours, based on specific information regarding presence of NSCN (K) terrorists in the General Area Nginu (Arunachal Pradesh). The party came under heavy automatic fire at 1330 hours at Nginu which resulted in bullet injuries to Rifle Man Shri Bhagwan. He was evacuated but attained martyrdom en-route.
