Constable Ramesh Kumarunder command of Shri Nitin Kumar, Deputy Commandant was on a Search and Destroy Operation on July, 18, 2016, when Maoists triggered series of Improvised Explosive Device and indulged in heavy firing at ‘Dumari Nala’ in District Aurangabad (Bihar). The attack was retaliated promptly by the troops. In the ensuing fierce gun fight with Maoists, ConstableRamesh Kumar fought valiantly but succumbed to the serious injuries sustained due to Improvised Explosive Deviceblast, making the supreme sacrifice for the Nation.
