Constable Dipak Ghoshunder command of Shri Nitin Kumar, Deputy Commandant was on a Search and Destroy Operation on July, 18, 2016, when Maoists triggered series of Improvised Explosive Deviceand fired heavily on them at ‘Dumari Nala’ in District Aurangabad (Bihar). The attack was retaliated promptly by the troops. In the fierce gun battle between the CRPF men and Maoists, Constable Dipak Ghosh put up a brave fight but suffered serious injuries due to Improvised Explosive Device blast. He, later succumbed to his injuries, making supreme sacrifice for the Nation.
