No. 085342111 CT GD Mukhtar Ahmad Doie of 14 Bn was assigned a special task of collecting intelligence about the activities of militants in the area of responsibility. While he was in the target area gathering intelligence about the militants activities two terrorist on motorcycle approached him and fired 03 04 rounds on him from close range at Chack Chotipora PS Heerpora Distt. Shopian. After being shot by the terrorist he was immediately shifted to the District Hospital Shopian where Doctor declared him brought dead. Thus CT GD Mukhtar Ahmad Doie attained martyrdom in the line of duty and made the supreme sacrifice in service of the Nation.
