No.020051242 CT/GD Naresh Kumar, 84 Bn BSF deployed at BOP Bhattupara, Mahatpur, Distt-Nadia, WB, detailed for duty in Observation Post No.2 in the AOR of BOP Bhattupara, on 04.04.2021 suffered electrocution during heavy thunderstorm at about 1755 hrs while manning his Observation Post and was declared brought dead at the hospital. Ct Naresh Kumar did not abandon his duty point and maintained his vigil on the sensitive border area inspite of heavy thunderstorm and extremely inclement weather conditions displaying highest level of devotion, dedication and commitment towards duty and offered supreme sacrifice in the highest traditions of the force as a Seema-Prahari while dying in the line of duty.
