On 13 November 2021, Rifleman (General Duty) Rajendra Prasad Meena was part of Commandant Quick Reaction Team and was moving from Beheng company to Singhat company. At around 1115 hrs, at general area 8 Kms North of Beheng company the column came under heavy fire by the insurgents. Rifleman (General Duty) Rajendra Prasad Meena without prejudice to his own safety continued to fight valiantly wherein he succumbed due to multiple bullet injuries, thereby making supreme sacrifice for the nation
