IRLA No. 51216962 (Late) Dr Naveen Ram IG/Director(Medical) BSF Med Dte HQ DG BSF New Delhi, a Corona warrior, deployed at Med Dte BSF New Delhi in severely COVID affected endemic area of Delhi. He complained of COVID like symptoms on 23.04.2021 and was subjected to RT PCR test at FHQ BSF Hospital-I R K Puram, found Covid Positive and shifted to Referral Hospital, ITBP Greater Noida (UP) on 26.04.2021. He was further evacuated to BLK Super speciality Hospital New Delhi on 28.04.2021 due to deterioration in his condition. He succumbed to Covid-19 infection on 12.06.2021 at about 1420 hrs while under treatment at BLK Super speciality Hospital. Dr Naveen Ram, IG/Director(Medical) laid down his life on the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment while taking care of patients at BSF Hospital.
