No. 970027881 (Late) SI(Min) Mahesh Kumar Baghel of Trg Dte, BSF HQ (attached with MHA), a Corona Warrior deployed in the severely COVID affected pandemic area of New Delhi was advised by Doctor at CGHS Wellness Centre to undergo RTPCR test and prescribed medicines and rest for 05 days. He was subjected to RTPCR test on 23.04.2021 and found COVID-19 positive. Due to non-availability of bed for Corona positive patients at New Delhi, he proceeded to his home town Gwalior for further treatment and was admitted to BIMR Hospital Gwalior. He succumbed to the disease there on 03.05.2021 while under treatment for Covid-19. SI(Min) Mahesh Kumar Baghel laid down his life on the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment in COVID-19 environment.
