No. 860439512 ASI(GD) Kuldeep Raj of 99 Bn BSF, a Corona warrior deployed on operational duty in severely COVID affected Pandemic zone in highly sensitive area of Jammu along Indo-Pak International border complained of fever and breathing problem on 12.04.2021. He was subjected to RTPCR Test at Ftr Hosp BSF Jammu and was found Covid-19 positive. He was admitted to GMCH Jammu on 17.04.2021 and was further referred to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Super Speciality Hospital, Katra (Jammu and Kashmir) for treatment. His condition deteriorated while being evacuated to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Super Speciality Hospital, Katra (Jammu and Kashmir) and was declared dead by doctor on duty at the emergency/casualty at the hospital. At about 1500 hrs on 02.06.2021, ASI(GD) Kuldeep Raj laid down his life on the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment on Indo-Pak Border (Jammu and Kashmir).
