Constable Pranjal Pachani alongwith other personnel of 208 CoBRA Bn was on Search and Destroy Operation under PS Bheji (Sukma) in forest area of Aitrajpad on July 30, 2016, when an encounter broke out with Maoists. During the fierce encounter, Constable Pranjal Pachani engaged the Maoists but sustained serious bullet injuries. He, later succumbed to his injuries and attained martyrdom.
