IRLA No. 18941920 (Late) Dr V S Rajan, Chief Medical Officer (Selection Grade) performing duties of Commandant (Medical) of FHQ BSF Hospital-I R K Puram, New Delhi, a Corona warrior deployed at FHQ BSF Hospital in severely affected COVID endemic area of Delhi, complained of Cough, fever and breathlessness on 25.04.2021 at about 1530 hrs,underwent Rapid Antigent Test at FHQ BSF Hospital-I R K Puram and found Covid Positive at about 1600 hrs on the same day. He was immediately referred and admitted in RH ITBP for treatment. He succumbed to the Covid-19 infection on 30.4.2021 at about 1915 hrs while under treatment at RH ITBP Greater Noida (UP). Dr Vijay Singh Rajan, CMO(SG)/Comdt(Med) laid down his life on the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment while taking care of patients at BSF Hospital.
