No. 890051533 (Late) ASI(GD) Julfikar Ali Bhutto of 179 Bn BSF, a Corona Warrior, deployed on border duty in the severely COVID affected endemic area of Seemanagar (WB), developed breathlessness with fever on 04.05.2021 and was immediately evacuated to SD Hospital, Bongaon (WB), admitted there, tested for Covid-19 and found Positive. He was immediately evacuated to Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute Rajarhat Kolkata(WB) through CH BSF Kolkata. He succumbed to the disease on 14.05.2021 at about 1900 hrs while under treatment for Covid-19 in Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute Rajarhat Kolkata(WB). ASI(GD) Julfikar Ali Bhutto laid down his life on the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment in COVID-19 environment
