Regt No.902102891 HC(GD) D A Majeed of SHQ BSF Trivandrum, a Corona Warrior, was deployed on Law and Order duty at Muttathara, Vallakkadavu, Trivandrum. He complained of Cough, Fever and breathlessness on 05th Sept 2020. He was immediately evacuated to Govt. General Hospital, Trivandrum, Kerala on 05.09.2020. He was subjected to Covid Test conducted at Govt General Hospital, Trivandrum and was found positive (Rapid Antigen Test). He was further evacuated to Govt Medical College and Hospital, Trivandrum w.e.f. 05.09.2020. He succumbed to the COVID-19 infection at about 0145 hrs on 24.09.2020 while under treatment at Govt. Medical College and Hospital, Trivandrum (Late) HC(GD) D A Majeed laid down his life on the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment in COVID-19 environment.
