No.906000078 (Late) SI(RM) Ganga Sagar Prasad of 73 Bn BSF, a Corona Warrior, was deployed on operational duty along Indo-Pak International Border in the severely COVID affected endmic area of Ajnala, Amritsar, Punjab. He was admitted to GND Hospital, Amritsar, Punjab on 25.09.2020 with complaints of stomach problem and uneasiness and was further tested for Covid-19 and found positive. He succumbed to the disease on 01.10.2020 while remaining admitted in the hospital and his death was ascribed to Corona Virus infection. SI(RM) Ganga Sagar Prasad laid down his life on the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment in COVID-19 environment.
