No. 100027101 (Late) CT(GD) Rahul Kumar Pandey of 05 Bn BSF, a Corona Warrior, was deployed on operational duty along Indo-Pak International Border in... n the severely COVID affected endemic area of Amritsar, Punjab. He reported to Combined Hospital Khasa, Amritsar with complaints of GENERAL WEAKNESS LESS APPETITE, COLOURED URINE on 15.09.2020. He was referred to GND Hospital, Amritsar on the same day where he remained admitted till 24.09.2020 for treatment of liver related problems. He was further referred to PGIMER Chandigarh on 25.09.2020 where he was tested for Covid-19 and found COVID positive on 25.09.2020. He succumbed to the disease on 04.10.2020 while remaining admitted in the hospital and his death was ascribed to Corona Virus infection.
