No. 021646524 Late CT (GD) Munavar Beg M of 59 Bn BSF, a Corona Warrior, was deployed on operational duty along Indo Pak International Border in severely COVID affected endemic area of Rajouri, J and K. He reported symptoms of cough and cold and was evacuated to GMC Rajouri (Govt Hospital) for RTPCR test on 17.09.2020. He was found positive for COVID-19 on 21.09.2020. He was immediately shifted to Covid Care Centre, GMC Rajouri on same day for further treatment. While under treatment the doctor on duty of Covid Care Centre, GMC Rajouri informed that CT(GD) Munavar Beg M succumbed to the infection on 29.09.2020 at about 0735 hrs. CT(GD) Munavar Beg M laid down his life on the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment in COVID-19 environment.
