UIN-11070121 ASI/GD Rakesh Singh, was on 45 days Earned Leave w.e.f. 27/07/2020 to 09/09/2020 and reported back from said leave at Bn HQr 54th Bn SSB Bijni on 09/09/2020 (AN). On reporting at Bn Hqr 54th Bn he was sent to Bijni Hospital on 10/09/2020 for testing of Covid-19 as per SOP and he was found Corona positive. Further, official was sent to quarantine centre at Subhaijhar M.G. Model Hospital, Chirang where he was quarantined w.e.f. 10/09/2020 to 16/09/2020. On 16.09.2020 his oxygen level was found low and he was referred to JSB Civil Hospital, Kajalgaon where he was admitted w.e.f. 16/09/2020 to 18/09/2020. But on 18.09.2020 his health condition was deteriorated and accordingly he was evacuated to GMCH, Guwahati where he was admitted in ICU w.e.f. 18/09/2020 (AN). On dated 24.09.2020 about 1100 hrs No.100640563 CT/GD Pohar Daimary, attendant of ASI/GD Rakesh Singh informed over telephone that the official expired on 24/09/2020 at about 1000 hrs.
