G/94870N Rifleman (General Duty) Nandeswar Hazarika was posted in Yongchik Company Operating Base (COB) and was part of administrative support team who were responsible for management of quarantine facilities and COVID-19 related cases at Yongchik quarantine centre since Mar 2020. On 09 Sep 2020 individual reported to develop breathlessness. He was tested for COVID-19, Rapid Antigen Test and detected positive and was put on oxygen support and other emergency measures were taken. He was further evacuated to 162 MH alongwith unit RMO and 01 x Nursing Assistant. individual was tested for COVID-19 on RT-PCR in 162 MH and was detected positive. However, condition of indl deteriorated and placed on DIL on 15 Sep 2020 at 0930 hours. Individual died on 20 Sep 2020 at 0545 hours.
