Late Sh Dnyaneshwar Harishchandra Wankhade, Assistant Commandant_Min IRLA No. 41427361, was a corona warrior and deployed on duty SHQ BSF Bhalai Chhattisgarh in anti naxal theatre. The Officer was tested for COVID-19 on 29.07.2020 and found COVID-19 Positive on 31.07.2020. When he complained of uneasiness, He reported difficulties in breathing at about 1745 hrs on 31.07.2020 and admitted to AIIMS Hospital, Raipur Chhattisgarh for further treatment. However, the officer succumbed to the infection on 10/08/2020 at about 1330 hrs, Sh D H Wankhade got martyrdom during treatment. Sh Dnyaneshwar Harishchandra Wankhade, Assistant Commandant_Min laid down his life in the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment in Covid-19 environment in the state of Chhattisgarh.
