No.879119285 HC GD Hira Mitra-102 BN BSF a Corona Warrior was deployed in the severely COVID affected endemic area of Srinagar J n K. He reported in unit MI Room with complaints breathlessness and palpitation. On 11/08/2020 at about 0900 hrs and was further of evacuated to 168 MH Drugmulla. He was diagnosed as a case of typical pneumonia with ARDS severe suspected Covid-19 and remained admitted at 168 MH Drugmulla. He was thereafter referred to SMHS Govt Hospital Srinagar for better treatment admitted there on 14.08.2020 at about 2230 hrs he was further referred to Govt Chest and Diseases Hospital Srinagar where doctor examined and found him Covid-19 positive and kept him on ventilator due to decreasing oxygen level and breathing problem. He succumbed to his Covid-19 infection despite best treatment at about 1305 hrs on 15.08.2020. HC GD Hira Mitra laid down his life in the line of duty under the global pandemic situation due to corona virus infection and sacrificed his life as a consequence of his active deployment in Covid-19 environment in the state of JnK
