No 111872020 CT Ganga Bara was posted to 77 BN BSF and performing duties at LOC/Forward defensed Locality J-10/A of 77 BN BSF, which is highly sensitive due to its difficult terrain, hostile nature of enemy, natural hazards like Land slide in monsoons and avalanche in winter. on 13 jan,2020 when high intensity avalanche set in and swayed his post J-10/A under FDL Jabra MOR. He did not leave his post and tried to get out of avalanche till his last breath. Thus he sacrificed his life for the nation in line of duty in the extreme adverse circumstances.
