CT GD Shyamal Kumar Dey of 90 Bn deployed for Law and order duty under P S Bijbehera Dist Anantnag Jammu and Kashmir On 26 June 2020 at around 1205 hrs Suspected Militants fired upon him during an exchange of fire CT GD Shyamal Kumar Dey got fatal bullet injuries below Left Temple and lower abdomen. Deployed party immediately retaliated fire of the fleeing militants. CT GD Shyamal Kumar Dey was immediately evacuated to SDH Bijbehara. Where He succumbed due to his injury and attained martyrdom in the line of duty.
