On 27.12.2019 at about 1420 hrs, while working/maintenance Border Flood Light (BFL) in the area of BOP Jhangar, Fazilka (Punjab) at Indo-Pak International Border Regt. No. 89365006 Rank HC(GD) Ram Sewak unconscious due to electric shock. Thereafter, he immediately admitted to nearest district hospital Fazilka by the Shri Ramesh Chandra, Assistant Commandant for better medical treatment but succumbed to grievous electric shock attained martyrdom at about 1530 hrs on 27.12.2019.
