| Brief of Incident: |
On 1 April 2019 at about 1210 hrs, Pakistan Army started unprovoked fire with high trajectory/medium weapons targeting onw FDLs under Jammu border. Immediately own troops alongwith Army unit effectively retaliated the enemy fire. No. 113100574 Inspr(GD) T Alex Lalminlun ,Offg Coy Comdr deployed at FDL-471, exhibited valiance and coordinated the retaliatory fire from the Command morcha. Unfortunately, a 82mm Mortar bomb fired by Pak Army detonated near the command morcha and Inspr T Alex Lalminlun received grievous splinter injuries. He was immediately evacuated to Command Hospital Udhampur by helicopter at 1433 hrs but could not be saved and Inspr T Alex Lalminlun attained martyrdom in the service of nation.
