| Brief of Incident: |
On 13/02/2019 at 1340 Hrs on operation was launched against Naxals by the troop of 205 CRPF CoBRA Bn in the forest area near village Pachrukhiya, Distt Gaya (Bihar). During the operation, Naxals opened the fire on the troop. In the exchange of fire, the Commandos of 205 CoBRA Bn charged at Naxals who were present in hideout duly defended with planted mines. During charge, a mine exploded beneath the foot of No. 165120043 SI/GD Raushan Kumar of 205 CoBRA Bn. As a result, he got seriously injured and immediately evacuated to Ruban Memorial Hospital, Patna by Helicopter but his life could not be saved. Thus, he laid down his life in the line of duty and attained martyrdom.
