On 14/02/2019, CRPF convoy was playing at National Highway (Jammu to Srinagar) near Lethpora, Distt- Pulwama (JK). At about 1530 hrs, an explosive laden vehicle rammed into convoy and IED blasted by the fidayeen militants. One of the CRPF bus carrying Jawans was hit upon in the blast. As a result, No. 055211785 CT/GD Rathod Nitin Shivaji of 03 Bn, CRPF who was travelling in the Bus laid down his life in the line of duty and attained martyrdom.
