| Brief of Incident: |
On 11/12/2018 at about 1050 hrs, troops of 150 Bn left for area domination cum corridor protection duty from base camp Chintagupha towards Jungle area of Chintagupha. After completion of duty, when troops reached approx 600 meters suddenly an IED exploded and CT/GD Sanjit Kumar Harijan who was also carrying 51 inch Mortar with Bombs, came under the impact of IED explosion due to which he got severely injured. He was immediately rescued and sent to Field Hospital Chintagupha but due to the grave injuries, he laid down his life in the line of duty and attained martyrdom.
