On 18/11/2018 at about 1915 hrs, 2-3 unidentified militants fired couple of brust upon No. 871181031 HC/GD Chandrika Prasad of 183 Bn who was checking the guards of Morcha adjacent to the Railway track, Kakapora, Pulwama (J and K). HC/GD Chandrika Prasad received fatal bullet injuries in his Rt. Upper abdomen and other at lower back. He was immediately rescued and sent to PHC Kakapora but due to the grave injuries, he laid down his life in the line of duty and attained martyrdom.
