Constable Gorakh Nath, along with others, was on a Road Search Operation on March 11, 2017 at Bheji-Kottacheruvu axis, Police Station Bheji, District Sukma (Chhattisgarh) Maoists triggered Improvised Explosive Device blasts and opened heavy fire on the troops. Constable Gorakh Nath fought gallantly but sustained serious injuries and succumbed to them, attaining martyrdom.rn
