| Brief of Incident: |
On 20th Feb 2018 at about 1645 hrs, while deployed at FDL Kanhai on India-Pakistan Line of Control in Kashmir valley, Const Sunil Kumar Murmu got snipping shot in his stomach fired from Pak FDL Jammua. He was immediately evacuated to 92 Base Hospital Srinagar by helicopter but unfortunately succumbed to injuries and attained martyrdom at the altar of duty.
