While Head Constable Jagdish Prasad Bishnoi was on a Road Search Operation on March 11, 2017, Maoists triggered Improvised Explosive Device blasts and opened heavy fire on the troops at Bheji Kottacheruvu Axis, District - Sukma (Chhattisgarh). Head Constable Jagdish Prasad Bishnoi fought gallantly but sustained serious injuries and later succumbed to them, attaining martyrdom.
