On 31/12/2017, a dastardly attempt of fidayeen attack on CRPF camp at Lethpora, Pulwama, J&K was thwarted by brave CRPF Jawans, averting a major loss.  A group of terrorists affiliated with JeM had forced their entry into the camp during wee hours but before they could afflict any major casualty, they were neutralized by our alert troops after a fierce gunfight. During the encounter, No. 920200102 HC/GD Mohd. Tafail fought bravely and laid down his life at the altar of duty and attained Martyrdom.
