On 26/11/2017, Manjunath S. J. of 113 Bn, CRPF participated in an anti-maoist operation conducted in the area of Talwargarh, U/PS: Dhanora,Distt. Gadchiroli (Maharashtra). During the operation an encounter took place between the troops and Maoists in which 03 personnel sustained severe bullet injuries out of which one injured personnel No. 075054293 CT/GD Manjunath S. J. of 113 Bn, CRPF succumbed to his injuries and attained martyrdom. He has made the supreme sacrifice of his life at the altar of duty in the service of motherland.
