| Brief of Incident: |
On 19/11/2017, D coy of 150 Bn was out for area domination/ search operation in Chintagufa area of Sukma District Chhattisgarh. During the operation, the coy came under an IED attack by Naxals followed by a fierce gun battle. HC/GD K Venkanna alongwith his fellow troops fought valiantly and repulsed the Naxal attack. In the line of duty, HC/GD K Venkanna made a supreme sacrifice.
