On 1st Sept’2017 at about 1745 hrs, Pak Army opened heavy volume of fire from Pak Posts Kash, Jungle-I, Jungle-II, Ridge Top and Peer. Immediately own FDLs-430, Sheru, Ghora, Sakri and SSB Lambu retaliated to Pak firing.� During exchange of fire, No. 886883005 ASI(GD) Kanwaljit Singh, who was deployed at SSB Lambu of FDL Ghora sustained bullet injury.� He was immediately evacuated to MI Room of 22 SIKH after administering first aid but ASI(GD) Kanwaljit Singh succumbed to his injuries enroute.
