Head Constable Dhanawade Ravindra Baban of 182 Bn, CRPF Unknown 03 militants (Fidayeens) entered in District Police Line, Pulwama, under Police Station Pulwama, Distt. Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir) and started firing upon the troops which was retaliated promptly. During operation an encounter broke out between the troops and the Militants. In the fierce gunfight Head Constable Dhanawade Ravindra Baban sustained severe bullet injuries He was immediately evacuated to 92 Base Hospital, where he breathed his last during treatment. He sacrificed his life at the altar of duty in the service of the Nation.
