Assistant Sub Inspector Hira Bhallabh Bhatt, along with other personnel, was on Road Search Operation Under police station Bheji (Sukma) on March 11, 2017. During operation, Maoists triggered Improvised Explosive Device blasts and opened heavy fire on the troops. Assistant Sub Inspector Hira Bhallabh Bhatt led his troops from the front and fought gallantly but sustained serious injuries and succumbed to them, attaining martyrdom.rn
