Assistant Sub Inspect Naresh Kumar of 74 Bn, CRPF was deployed for Counter Insurgency Operations ( Anti Maoist Operations) at Burkapal, U/PS: Chintagupha, Distt. Sukma, Chhattisgarh. On 24/04/2017, during area domination in connection with security of road construction, a fierce encounter broke out between CRPF troops and Maoists. Assistant Sub Inspect Naresh Kumar fought valiantly against the heavily armed Maoists and laid down his life in the line of duty for the Nation. Nation salutes his selfless bravery and devotion to duties.
