Head Constable Paras Nath Saroj along with CRPF troops was performing Road Opening Operation on January 18, 2017 when there was an Improvised Explosive Device Blast, planted by Maoists on Kuttacheru-Gorkha axis, District Sukma (Chhattisgarh). In this blast, Head Constable Paras Nath Saroj succumbed to the serious injuries and laid down his life for the Nation.
