On Friday, the 14th October, 2016, an SSB patrol party returning to their camp after performing law and order duties was attacked by militants at Zakura in Srinagar (J&K). The sudden and indiscriminate firing on the convoy by militants took the life of Constable Ghanshyam Gurjar and injured 8 others.
